a couple of wednesdays ago i decided to go ‘splorin. took a bus, dozed off for a while, and when i look off to my left i see the DMZ. nutty. i went to the northern city of heyri, home to a more artistic community. the architecture was some of the more interesting types i’ve seen here.
and i even ate at an organic food shop. curry tuna (i’ve replicated it many times since my visit.) i sat at this cafe for quite sometime, just journaling. no agenda, no distractions. it was quite nice.
there were quite a few galleries and bookshops, particularly foresta book cafe. i finally picked up my korean version of le petite prince. hoorah!
i cafe’d at the chocolate design gallery (naturally, one of my stops). the building looked like a chocolate bar. mMm. i had the beeest hot chocolate. just the right amount of bitter and sweet. the first sip was divine.
i hope to see more neighborhoods like this. i’m sure there are plenty. i just need to ‘splore more ( ^ – ^ )
